AUCKLAND SKIP BINS Terms & Conditions of Hire

1. Payment Terms:

• Residential Customers: Payment is to be made via credit card upon booking, or by cash/cheque upon delivery.
• Commercial Customers: Payment terms will be established in consultation with management prior to delivery.
• All expenses incurred in the pursuit of outstanding accounts will be added to any dues owed.

2. Prohibited Waste Materials:

•  It is strictly prohibited to load cleanfill, hardfill, and general waste into the same bin without exception.
• Materials not allowed for disposal include, but are not limited to: bulk food waste, tires, large tree stumps, waste oil, chemicals, asbestos, paint, or any other hazardous substances.

3. Hire Period:

•  Residential Customers: The duration of bin hire is set at three or seven days from the date of delivery, unless alternative arrangements are made with management.
•  Commercial Customers: Hire periods will be determined in advance in coordination with management.

4. General Policies:

• Bins must not be overloaded beyond the rim, in compliance with LTSA regulations.
• Bins with capacities of 3m3, and 4m3 are designated for the disposal of either General Waste or Cleanfill (e.g., topsoil, concrete, and bricks).
• It is imperative that Cleanfill bins remain uncontaminated by mixed materials. The mixing of topsoil with concrete, bricks, or other materials will result in additional charges.
• Bins with capacities of 6m3 and 9m3 are designated for General Waste Only and should not be filled with Cleanfill to avoid exceeding safe weight limits.
• The placement of polystyrene in bins is strictly prohibited without prior approval from Auckland Skip Bins Ltd. Additional disposal costs for polystyrene-filled bins may be invoiced by Auckland Skip Bins Ltd.
• Bins are to remain stationary at the designated drop-off point unless prior arrangements have been made with Auckland Skip Bins Ltd. Any damage incurred as a result of unauthorized relocation will be the responsibility of the client.
• Bins found to be overweight will incur an additional charge of $0.27 per kg ($270 per tonne) inclusive of GST.
  Excess weight charges will be levied if the weight surpasses the maximum weight limit.
